Last updated 14 October 2026. Questions: thinklauncher@gmail.com.
This policy covers this website and Think Launcher's apps:Margin Guardrails and Landrio.
This website
thinklauncher.com is a static website. It has no accounts, no forms and no advertising trackers. The profit calculator runs entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are not sent anywhere or stored. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
Margin Guardrails (Shopify app)
The app is operated by Think Launcher. This section explains what store data it uses when a merchant installs it.
Data we access from your Shopify store
- Products and variants: titles, SKUs, prices and "Cost per item", to calculate profit per product. When you enter or upload costs in the app, we save them to "Cost per item" in your store.
- Orders from the last 30 days: only which product variant was sold, the quantity, the price paid after discounts, and whether the order was cancelled. This powers the 30-day forecast.
We do not access or store your customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or payment details.
Data we store
- Your shop domain and the access token Shopify issues to the app.
- The cost settings you enter (payment fees, shipping, returns, target margin).
- Sales totals per product variant for the last 30 days (units sold and revenue), refreshed about every 12 hours.
- Profit alerts: product titles, prices and profit figures.
- Your Margin Guardrails plan (Free or Pro).
How we use it
Only to provide the app's features to you. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, or use it for any other purpose.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- Render hosts the app and its database in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
- Shopify provides the store data and handles billing for the app.
How long we keep it
We keep store data while the app is installed. When you uninstall, the access token is deleted immediately, and all remaining data for your store is deleted when Shopify sends its data deletion request, 48 hours after uninstalling.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about your store, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing us. We respond to customer data requests passed on by Shopify; since the app stores no customer personal data, there is normally nothing to return or delete.
Landrio (Shopify app)
Landrio is a Shopify app operated by Think Launcher. It works out the landed cost of the stock merchants receive (supplier cost plus freight, duties and fees) and keeps a history of product costs. This section explains what store data it uses when a merchant installs it.
Data we access from your Shopify store
- Products and variants: titles, SKUs, barcodes, prices, weights and "Cost per item", so shipment lines can be matched to your products.
- Inventory: stock quantities on hand, and the transfers and shipments you receive in Shopify, so costs can be averaged into the stock you hold.
- Changes we make: when you apply a shipment, we update "Cost per item" on the products in it. Nothing else in your store is changed.
We do not access your orders or your customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or payment details.
Data we store
- Your shop domain and the access token Shopify issues to the app.
- A copy of your product catalog (the product fields listed above).
- The shipments you enter: supplier names, supplier prices, quantities, and freight, duty and other charges, with their currencies and exchange rates.
- The history of your products' costs, including costs you import from a spreadsheet (we keep the imported rows and the file name, not the file itself).
- Stock valuation snapshots you take (products, quantities on hand and costs at that time).
- Your settings (margin floor) and your Landrio plan.
